Sizing information

Every clothing page lists the garment's own measurements in inches and centimeters, so you can compare them with something you already own.

How we size

  • Sizes are US sizes unless the product page says otherwise.
  • Some labels sewn into the clothes show the maker's own or an international size. The size you chose at checkout is the size we send.
  • When a piece runs small, large or relaxed, the product page says so under Fit.

How to measure yourself

Use a soft tape measure. Keep it level, snug but not tight, and measure over light clothing.

Measurement How to take it
Chest or bust Around the fullest part of your chest, under your arms
Waist Around your natural waist, the narrowest part of your torso
Hips Around the fullest part of your hips and seat, feet together
Inseam From the top of your inner thigh to your ankle bone
Sleeve From the center back of your neck, over your shoulder, to your wrist

Or measure a piece you own

The surest way to choose: lay a shirt, sweater or pair of trousers that fits you well flat on a table. Measure across the chest from armpit to armpit, and the length from the highest point of the shoulder to the hem. Pick the size whose garment measurements come closest.

Between sizes?
