Three tests, every time

Every piece we sell has to pass three tests: it is made to last, it is designed to stay beautiful, and it is honestly priced.

How a piece gets in

Before anything goes on sale, we get its materials, construction and country of origin from the maker in writing. We order a sample and use it hard for two weeks. Then we ask two more questions: will it still look right in ten years, and is the price fair for what it is?

The same standard throughout the store

Clothing, accessories, the living room, the kitchen, the garden and the walls. We hold every piece to the same standard.

What you can count on

Set from cost and quality, with no inflated "compare at" prices and no permanent sales.
